Title: National Express - London LEZ 2012
Post by: SURREYMAN on November 18, 2011, 03:41:19 PM
Just over 6 weeks before the revised Low Emission Zone starts.
Looking at the latest BBP fleetbook for Nat Ex, it looks as if most operators will have sufficient vehicles of Euro4/5 spec coaches to service the London routes.
I see National Express (The operator based at Heathrow, Crawley and Start Hill) still have a number of older coaches in their fleet (Pre Euro 4), Have they, I wonder been fitted with exhaust filters to meet the new 2012 Regs?
The Woking - Heathrow 701 route always seems to be operated by older vehicles (44 LK53KVT VOLVO B12B/PLATON PANTHER, today, this vehicle has route branding for the 701 railair link) and before anyone asks, Heathrow is in the LEZ.
Have any other Nat-Ex contractors upgraded their older Euro 3 coaches exhaust systems?
