Two new arrivals for this Great Yarmouth operator in the form of Higer Touring bodied Scanias in the fleet - 254 YN16UAF and 255 YN16UAG. UAG wears Grand UK Holidays branding whist UAF has Sunrise livery

Both arrived last week and the former was awaiting passengers this morning in Great Yarmouth

Further details and pics at http://eastnorfolkbus.blogspot.co.uk/

An informed source tells me that Ambassador Travel also have some tri-axles in the pipeline to replace the 09 registered Levantes on National Express duties

Regards

A Caetano Levante bearing a 'SR' fleet number over the cab window was seen today operating the 0820 National Express service 491 from Great Yarmouth to London.  I seem to recall reading Ambassador had such a vehicle on loan from National Express quite some time ago.

Can anyone confirm which coach, when, and if loaned or acquired?

Thanks
David

I had already discounted BF63 ZSL as I had photographed it on 27 January 2019 and it didn’t carry any fleet number on the side window. However, Bus Lists on the Web shows that BF63 ZSK/L/N were new to Ambassador in January 2014 so they presumably wouldn’t have been the carriers of any National Express style fleet numbers on the side windows with a Sibson Road (SR) prefix.

On looking through lists of Ambassador’s National Express I can now see there were four Levantes in the fleet which had been new to National Express that appear to have retained the fleet numbers they had with National Express. These were 124 (FJ11 MKF), 129 (FJ11 MKV), 132 (FJ11 MJU) and 134 (FJ11 MJX).

I think I may have seen SR132.
