Who remembers that roadshow that went around Cambridge some years ago when they first started to flog the busway? Lots of hot air and business speak etc was said and we were going to get the state of the art transportation scheme using vehicles like this.

It certainly looks short enough to get around the Bridge street/Round Church Street corner with ease!   ;)

It certainly looks short enough to get around the Bridge street/Round Church Street corner with ease!   ;)

Just think, if they'd ordered trams/futuristic buses like this?  Now that would have really sold people on the Busway. The whole concept of the Busway with futuristic trams/buses would surely have been a very good winner!!

It's short enough to go in my garden shed as well!
Never ask a dustman to talk shop.

That is what they were trying to sell it at, even the PR vids were showing such vehicles!
