The title, which might explain the comment at the end, was...
GUIDED BUSWAY NEVER 'TYRES' OF BEING GREEN

Is it bad pun week, or something?

I heard that they were infilling the gaps with this mixture of tyres etc. A very sensible idea. The gaps between the guideway beams was one thing that readily sprang to mind, when I saw first beams laid. I said, at the time, surely they've got to infill those gaps, otherwise kids or animals could fall into them and break a leg/injure themselves etc. Somehow, I couldn't see the whole Guideway fenced off to prevent kids or animals wandering about when buses weren't coming along!

Pun recycling continues at County Hall.
Just in case, I've a feeling we should collect ten new headlines with puns, to choose one for the next press release.
And, if they don't like them, well, no pun in ten did.

You should stick to the gardening, Suzy, especially in the current financial climate: look after the peonies and the puns will take care of themselves.
