Whist driving to work today, the VR was noted in the VOSA test station at Weedon, hopefully this will mean another year's ticket has been obtained, 8) this is good news, for if she survives into the new year then that will mean the 6th decade of VR operation in Northampton. (1960's/70's/80's/90's/00's & 10's), proof that they certainly don't build them like they used to.

the only other place that can possibly boast this claim that i can think off, is Mansfield (as they had the origional VR's and Johnson's are still operating them on schools).

I Shall keep an eye open for it on the Morning School's this week,  noted returning to the depot off the School's this morning were Olympian's TSO30X, B1CLN, C3CLN, & J859TSC, no sign of any of the Citybuses for a change.

That is encouraging news regarding an ex-ECOC / Cambus / Viscount VR :)

And one of the last ones new to Eastern Counties, and one of the last VRs built. Hope it will be preserved when it's school contract days are over.   :)

New to United Counties as VVV 974W and diverted to ECOC along with nine others without entering service.
