Is that long term storage due to being unroadworthy, or just being delicenced due to it not being needed?

I reckon that the only VR not for sale would be the open-topper, apart from that all sensible offers would be considered. Currently there are 2 VR's on the road, FKM and AUD.

Rumour has it that HAH may be sold on ebay!

It being a mess is probably why it has now popped up on eBay....

Interesting to notice here:

Date panel states:
Model Year:  1979
Date of 1st Registration:  01 Sep 1979

Description states:
Presently registered FFL 463V but originally West Riding Automobile Company, No 805 Registered YUM 516S.

A V plate would have been issued in 1979-80 while S plates were issued 1977-78.

It follows that for a vehicle first registered on 01/09/79 would carry a V reg from the start.

Unusual therefore for a two year old registration to be used on a new vehicle.  It hardly appears to be a cherished reg.

I think there was a previous thread about HAH238V / FFL463V, although I don't want to start any more rumours about the vehicle ;-)
