Timetable leaflet for Lea Valley services.
« on: May 18, 2010, 02:07:00 PM »
There is a new timetable leaflet for Centrebus' Lea Valley services, which I picked up at Harlow Bus Station today.
It has information for routes C1, C2, C3, C4 and the evenings and Sundays 311. It has an introduction talking about recent changes and ticket information.
There is also a map of the services.

I'm quite impressed with the leaflet. I wish there were more like it for this area.
It would be good if the had all the Waltham X - Hoddesdon corridor services included in the leaflet, including the 310. It only has information on Centrebus services.
I'm not sure if it was produced by Intalink (it had the Intalink logo on it), or Centrebus, or was a joint effort between the two.

It is a Centrebus produced leaflet, so the chances of getting a competing service in like the Arriva ones are approx zero, and it has been out since the services relaunched in January.  Centrebus have similar designed ones out for Stevenage & elsewhere in the network.

Thanks for the extra information.
Didn't realise it had been around since January  ;D

The leaflet is done by Centrebus (actually it looks like a PB Bus Marketing item) on behalf of Centrebus. Each operator is supplied with various Intalink logos, complete with a ring binder full of information "brand guidelines" on how to use them. Sensibile stuff like Explorer logos to always go in 1st nearside window etc.

As was said, there is also one for Stevenage.

PB do marketing for a number of independant operators and local authorities, but, also for most supermarkets and store chains. Hence why the Lea Valley one has (IIRC) an ad for M&S on the rear.

There is also a comprehensive Lea Valley book (Hertford, Lea Valley & Cuffley) which is Intalink Area Travel Guide 6. Current issue is March 2010 (again IIRC).

Can I ask, where can you get the Lea Valley book from?
I have got one before from the Intalink Bus, but is there anywhere else I can get one?
Thanks

Alex,

I got mine by post from County Hall, but it varies - I've had my Watford books dropped off at work (while I was away).

There are seven area books covering all areas of Hertfordshire. These can be obtained from local council offices, ,libraries, TIC's, etc. free of charge. If you are looking for more than one area at a time, try Hemel bus station or the Intalink bus (in both cases, these are behind the counter). Failing that, contact HCC directly, and these can be posted to you.
