Another Eastern Counties VR model
« on: November 03, 2010, 11:04:26 PM »
EFE are producing another Eastern Counties VR model in the a predominately cream livery (was this an early First livery?).  The information is from the British Model Buses site http://www.britishmodelbuses.com/Large%20Images/EFE%203/20450_Bristol%20VR3_Eastern%20Counties_N_PP_Large.JPG

I think that was from the GRT era.

Certainly something i wouldn't mine buying to join VR 294 which is in the reverse ivery in allover Red. As Busman says these liveries were warn after the drop of NBC and most Buses carried the all over 'Tomato' as i called in or this version of the all over cream. Both had tweaks but the cream livery was more adopted in the final days of just 'Eastern Counties part of First Bus' hence when the purchase of Great Yarmouth Transport that when down a similar format of livery which then leaded to the 'Anglia Colors' then of course Barbie as we know it now.

I'd also like to see the forthcoming EFE model of the flat-front Series 1 / 2 VR  released in ECOC livery  :)
