"Rumours are that Cedar Coaches will be acquired by Herbert's on 1 August inc buses coaches and contracts but not premises or Operators Licence!

Sounds about right, as the owner passed away some months ago. They no longer operate any local bus services, other than schools.

the depots are 600 yards apart by road, but light years apart by standards, would assume Cedars place would be worth a bit as real estate into the bargain for those selling it... Hopefully some of the fleet is retained some unique vehicles included..
