"Normally" (unless this has changed as well!) the daytime 127 and 128 are done by the ex-Southern Vectis Dart. The school runs on the 128 are usually done by the ex-Hedingham B6 - which also does the last 127 off Royston.

So, imagine my surprise (!) when I spotted that the green Dart did the first AND last buses yesterday, Monday 29th March 2011.

Ex-Trent Barton (Villager branded) Pointer Dart SLF R927RAU is parked in a yard at Meldreth railway station, displaying 128 Shepreth. Think its a replacement for the B6 which was on eBay recently.

I completely forgot to mention this earlier in the month - had mentioned it to Jamie A and forgot to tell the rest!

The Dart arrived in April from Invincibille/Heartlands, Tamworth. They had replaced it with something else, I forget what. As Adam mentioned, the B6 ended up on eBay - any ideas if it's been sold?

At the same time, SA 52 JKJ that I mentioned two years ago - I'd not seen it until I saw it a few weeks back - so it's still around.

It was just doing the runs that the B6 used to do - i.e. the 128 school run and the last 127.
