4 years later - progress towards 2021 plans
« on: August 06, 2011, 11:49:15 PM »
It's four years since we first saw these maps:

http://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/NR/rdonlyres/F24D713C-763B-4209-B7BF-D4F53CE7E596/0/CambridgeRurlBusMap20211.pdf

Progress in that time has been... disappointing; a lot of the services that they hoped would be doubled have so far only been halved, and other services have or are going to disappear completely :(

Now that we're just about to see the busway open, what do we think will happen to the bus network in the next 4 years?

We also need to look at the substantial reductions in rural services, take for example the once blossoming fens network where now the X9 has become plain 9 with half the frequency, 332 has gone to one per day, 32 gone completely.....
