Busway on local TV news
« on: August 09, 2011, 09:38:34 AM »
BBC Look East barely covered the Busway opening on Monday 8 August's programme giving about 32 seconds whilst Anglia did the opening more justice with 2 minutes 34 minutes. Anglia had one of their cameramen doing a comparable run by car on 'a relatively quiet A14' and they said the bus won.

The opening featured as the main story on both the Look East and Anglia News teatime programmes on Sunday.

On Monday there were also reports (fairly long ones with exterior shots, interior shots and interviews etc) on the BBC 1 o'clock news and also on BBC News Channel throughout the day.

This page: Cambridgeshire guided busway opens to passengers from BBC Cambridgeshire includes the report as a video.
