Working at yarmouth

as i passed yarmouth station today at around 5:45 ish i noticed two class 47's top and tailing a dvt and a couple of carriges from a london to norwich train is this a usual working can i have some info please
Last bus trips:
603 to transport museum
603 to lowestoft bus station
1A to denes high school.

I'm going to take a guess and suggest that NXEA are short of DMUs again.

I think London to Yarmouth trains only run on Saturdays???

Yes they are short of DMUs. This is a regular peak working, however this week they are also doing extras to Yarmouth and to Lowestoft

yes it was in service again yesterday, both times i saw i it was heading to gt yarmouth

to save starting a new topic, i suppose it would be best to continue this topic: i saw this same working leaving lowestoft around 11am this morning
