enviros for TfL 298 to be numbered AE11-AE16 as numbers AE6-AE10 are going to be kept open to be used for more thorpe park enviros so the thorpe park numbers follow on from AE4-AE5 so is AE4-AE10 .

route 298 enviro reg. numbers :

AE11 = CJ61 SUL
AE12 = DS61 SUL
AE13 = SB61 SUL
AE14 = TW61 SUL
AE15 = KS61 SUL
AE16 = KR61 SUL

the first two letters are staff initials again but i do not know the names but AE12 looks like it maybe DEAN SULLIVAN .

dart DN1 has been fitted with seat belts for schools and private hire and at some point is going to be repainted red .

ELV2 and ELV3 have been out on the 330 with full blinds (ELV2 9/9/11, ELV3 19/9/11 and 21/9/11) .

eleven double deckers are to be brought for TfL schools routes 628, 688, 653 and 683 for ten pvr and one spare won from arriva starting date 1st sept 2012 but will start on first school day after that date .

I got the first three - sort of - then I had to ask for the others...

AE13 – SB – Sullivan Buses, or Sally Bethany (admin) - turned out to be neither, I had my third option on Steve Barker (engineer), which it is. Could be any of those I suppose.

at the minute they have plans to buy four more enviros for the thorpe park service which will be numbered AE6-AE9 and there maybe a fifth to be numbered AE10 but it depends on the economy, passanger numbers and TfL work .

since the route started on monday 28th of march this year the following buses have been used on the 330 :

only nine buses are to be brought for the new TfL contracts for routes 628, 688, 653 and 683 as TPL926 and TPL927 will have a full interior refurbishment and repaint in the spring for the routes .

DN1 is going to be sent for a repaint once thorpe park has closed for the winter . it has also been fitted with a new set of blinds including routes 330 and 298 it is unlikely to ever be used on the 298 due to its length and being single doored .

sullivan buses are said to be on the look out for ten wright gemini volvo B7TLs for the TfL school routes and have been to look at two ex-london general ones (WVL127 and WVL128) lombard have for sale but have said to them they are after a total of ten from the same batch if lombard get anymore in .

the buses that work the 330 will be changing from monday 21st november as schools routes E289 and E293 will no longer run after friday 18th november four of the buses will still be from ALX1-5 which will still work E286, E287, E288 and E292 plus two off other school routes they are said to have two opinions and one is two buses of the 833 but i do not know the other one .

the routes that the buses come off to do the 330 starting today (21st november) are as follows :

841 (short)
833 (short, this working is going to be renumbered 813 from january)

the main buses for the E286, E287, E288 and E292 are still from ALX1-5 and the other two anything other then TN1-3 but anything can still fill in for any of ALX1-5 as well .

ROUTEMASTERs RM1069 and RML889 are said to be going in to storage at the beginning of winter at the same place as T890 and M2 are stored at .

they are now undecided about if DN1 will be repainted red or not .

ALX2 was involved in a accident on wednesday but is going to be repaired . as the last post i put up about it being written off was totally untrue i have removed it !
