Car driver stuck on busway says 'sun was in my eyes'

Let's just hope the same sunshine that caused him to miss all the warning signs on the busway entrance doesn't ever cause him to ignore one way signs/no entry signs/any other road traffic sign and cause him to kill someone in the future.

Or did he just think he could get away with ignoring the buses only signs...

I did say on Twitter today that would be part of a Busway Hall Of Shame right here on the Forum. Any objections?

How about renaming this thread as 'Busway Hall Of Shame'?

I know there have been other cases of mis-use and I thought they'd been reported on the Forum. However, I coudn't find a thread to which I could add this item.

If anyone else could find other items, perhaps you could link to them. Then Suzy, or another admin could merge them into the thread as 'Busway Hall Of Shame'.
