I am guessing the London blind is when these were used on Whippets route to that same destination?

Correct - I have an example of the Van Hool and the Volvo B7 / East Lancs (FE51 RAU). Exclusive First Editions produced a model of Titan KYV 300X (?) and BritBus produced the MCW Metropolitan as KJD 271P :)

Hi there

I think Britbus did KJD268P in Whippet livery too.  The EFE dual door Titan was A635THV, a bit of a surprise that one, as I don't think it lasted that long in the fleet.

There are still plenty of opportunites out there for Whippet liveried models, such as the RT's, single doored Titan & Wright bodied Scanias ( a la N630 & 633XBU), so lets hope we have some more .

Chris

If Corgi added the coach front to the casting components for Olympians, there could be potential for E911/2 DRD :)

Will be interesting to see what Hornby do now that they are buying out Corgi.

Chris Hopper

PS There seems to be at least two Chris's in the Forum.

Yes, there are 2 Chris's on the Forum.  There is Chris Forbes who is also a member of the Dundee Area Forum and yourself.

I wonder, will future corgi models be fitted with electric motors and rail bogies for running on 'oo' gauge track  ??? ::) ;D

Cheers
Tony

Nice one David - or how about a Plaxton Panorama bodied Bedford VAL or AEC Reliance - although I think you would have to take care over the ones you picked ! :))
