Solo 47042 on the 1540 service today from Northampton. Must be short of vehicles in Rugby

lol, for once they weren't, just the usual allocator was off, so somebody else in control "filled in"  ;)  it replaced the "you know what" before that even came out of the yard  ;D

The drivers are starting to refuse to drive it now lol, although it did eventually come out to play, and as far as i know, it behaved, on the 4  :)

I know that we are forced to go down this low floor route now with buses but i wonder how the punctuality of this route has been since the you know whats were finished??

Punctuality on the route has never really been a problem, with just occasional slight delays with a B10 when somebody with a buggy appears, since it went full low floor, it has dropped a bit, mainly due to the MAN doing its party piece or something, however the E200 the 1040 was 25 minutes late departing Greyfriars, why i don't know as it went in on time  >:(

Good News , 22920 is now officially Banned from the 96 due to its unreliability, and is now  restricted to Rugby locals  ;D

So for the near future it looks as though the route will be operated by the "Black Death" & a Dart,

Nothing has happened at all to the other Two Man's and both are over the pits at Rugby

22920's ban lasted all of one day as it was back on the 96 today, noted passing by Lodge Farm Industrial Estate into northampton, just after 1300 today.

At 10.40 this morning, the infamous 22920 was seen departing Greyfriars on service 96.

Does this mean the ban has been lifted or just being ignored?

It has been lifted, as although it had made a couple of trips on the route whilst officially "Banned", it has actually behaved itself and not packed up in 2 and a half weeks now, could this be a new record? ;)  (although i suspent that this is just another one of its cunning plans to caych some unsuspecting fool  lol)

the two ex Cambridge MAN's at Rugby have yet to turn a wheel in service

22920 was on the 11.40 service 96 ex-Northampton on Saturday (17th). I'd have thought that Rugby would have better buses to choose from on a Saturday.

Ex Cambridge 22459 was noted on the 96 this evening

both it and 22920 on the route on Friday, with 22920 on the 0945 departure and 22459 an hour behind,  36209 was the 3rd vehicle

Don't know what magic incantations have been heaped upon MAN 22920 by Rugby garage as it is now appearing regularly (and presumably reliably) on service 96.

Will they now use the same magic ro revive MAN22921?

A stranger on the 11.40 96 from Northampton to Rugby yesterday was Dart/ALX200 33453, which is shown on the disposals list on the latest Midlands fleetcard !
