Eastern Counties service 794
« on: January 13, 2013, 06:14:41 PM »
I remember this service from Norwich to Peterborough, and thought it was mostly operated by
Bristol VRs. However in searching some old slides(1995), I came accross a few of these. Don't
think I would fancy that journey!

Ah yes the Alexander T type bodies that I remember somewhat bizarrely only had one moveable blower vent over each pair of seats. So it was either you or the person next to you could have "fresh" air blown at you.

Do you know what day of the week the photo was taken?  I would hazard a guess that it may well have been a Sunday, a similar way to when Cambus/Viscount operated the Sunday 151 (Cambridge - Peterborough every two hours) of old with Iveco Minibuses in the mid 1990s.
