Tony Maxwell

It has been brought to our attention that Tony, aka "Tony Maxwell" on this Forum, has passed away in January.

Copy from the Dundee Courier (thanks to Toshie)...
SUDDENLY, at home, on Thursday, January 31, 2013, Anthony Maxwell, of Lisden Court, Kirriemuir. Funeral service in Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, on Tuesday, February 26, at 2.30 p.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited. MAXWELL

... and the rest of what I said on DABF...

To repeat what has been said by the rest of the group, Tony was an absolute gem of a gent, and was frequently out and about almost everywhere.

I guess I’d been fearing the worst for a while – as he’d not logged into either Forum this year. I had presumed some kind of computing problem, which I think he’d mentioned - although we knew he’d been getting unwell over the last few years.

To say he will be missed might sound a cliché, but in his case, the point has been now by me and already from several others.
