SNZ3869 has been in the paint shop and now matches his trusty brothers and on top of that it was on the 351 overflow and after talking to some of the much hadham locals we all agreed that it was looking very professional operation

Has anyone seen the Marshall capital short fleet in operation lately or are they being phased out due to the new arrivals of the fleet also does anyone know If or when Plaxton pointer 2 RX51 FNU will be departing ? As it hasn't been re registered yet which seems to be a sign of the fleet changes so far

LT02ZDG was on the 541 today (28th). Still in all-over plain red without fleetnames, but does have yellow lettering near the front door mentioning low fares on the C3, a route which of course no longer exists.

Looking on the Harlowride website, it appears B7TL/President X649LLX has appeared on the 410/411. Not sure when though.

I have to say I am confused to the reliability of the information of galleon on harlow ride as I have never seen G501 VYE in service or a photo of it in service with the galleon for what I shall call the galleon group or for that matter have I seen T570 EGD in service or a picture of the bus for that matter

A photo has been provided of the President with 411 on the destination at Harlow Bus Station.

G501VYE has never been on public service with Galleon (as far as I'm aware), but they apparently own it. The picture they show on the website is when it was loaned to TWH and used on the 55.

They're enthusiast information may not always be up to date or accurate, but the main point of the site is to provide public transport information.

Dart G501 VYE has not been owned by Galleon since around August 2012 when it was sold to the Bromley Bus Preservation Group (http://www.thebbpg.com/).

Following the revocation of the licence that was running the school run on the 386 from Bishop's Stortford to Buntingford by SM then Olympian now towlynx? anyway HCC retendered this... and it's to be ran by Trustybus from the day the schools go back. Incidentally unlike what is shown on their website, the rest of the service by C G Myall and Richmond's continues unchanged.

Smart-looking double deck in a gold-based Galleon Travel scheme was on the 1610ish 410/411 from Harlow to WX - G11 xxx (THINK it was GTL at the end?) - 80 seater with belts according to large signage at the back!

Did you identify the vehicle type?

Yes - was a President-type body from the NC/Plaxton/Transbus days. Probably one and the same.

RHZ 2264 is the duel doored dart with the previous life registration of S93EGK

Does anyone know what EDS stands for (wether it's galleon code or I'm just stupid I don't know) due to NK51 MKM features the fleet number EDS22 however according to harlow ride it's SPD30

Today's services as rather strange as I noted that Olympian were running a 386 along with seeing FXZ2175 and beat up and falling to pieces (literally) was RX51FNU in the 351 pair

Don't suppose if anyone knows if galleon are having either driver or mechanical issues as the 351 timetable has not been operating regularly with the 351 to hunsden not being operated in time or at very rarely with children being sent away packing because of a limited capacity in the morning and afternoon along with the driver not being able to pick up a good 10-15 people at bishops park tesco I have been informed.

Interesting - Olympian were told off for that too if I recall.

Don't remember amount of seats but it was a double doored dart if I stand corrected, this route seems to have turned horrible since centrebus got there hands on it but hopefully it will be sorted in the future but what annoys me with the drivers being stopped by the police is the drivers are only trying to do the right thing by taking as many as possible, yet the company weren't being directly punished all they were getting was a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again and even if a bus tried to stop overloaded it wouldn't end well as the 351 kindly demonstrated yesterday infact.

I noticed ( from a taxi moving in the other direction ) a Metroline liveried Plaxton President bodied Trident ( ? ) approaching Harlow Bus Station , at about 1640hrs last evening  . No destination display , but 411 on paper in its windscreen .

A few weeks ago I noticed their re-painted ' Decker ( G11GTL ) about the same time , doing the same duty . Is this particular arrival / departure always Double Deck ??

One of the red ex-Metroline Tridents appeared on the 541 yesterday!! Certainly a first. Would be interesting to see that get around the Abridge estate.

I guess there would also be problems with low trees, particularly along the Theydon Bois to Ivy Chimneys stretch. I believe this caused problems with TWH's 555 school journeys which sometimes had double-decks.

I'm suprised these haven't taken priority on respray like G11
