Solo 409 was very tired out after doing the 1110ish 635/700 from Hatfield to Stansted - even after stopping at the BP filling station in Buntingford for water....

Ever wondered what happened to the Uno bus that lost it's top at Harpenden Station last Autumn? Well Stagecoach EK bought it for spares. So, as to why it's at Carlisle... photo by Chris Cuthill https://www.flickr.com/photos/cuthbus/13651529193/

279 is also at Northampton, still in London United red. There were at least two Citaros out and about today, 303 and 305.

Here is a pic of Wright Gemini 277 on the 601 today (06/06/14) in Welwyn Garden City.

Also at least Citaro 301 (BX56 VSJ) and Solo 401 (YJ05 XNB) are back at Hatfield from Northampton. Plus also Northampton route 21 branded Darts 120 (KE04 UMC) and 121 (KE04 UMD) have been in use at Hatfield for at least last two weeks but as far as I know they were not due to be transfered back.

DAF/EL 202 was on the 602 this afternoon towards Watford - but was then seen back behind Hatfield heading back to the depot, so may have been covering part of a run (or gap in service) Only.

It appears that the start of the new university term has seen the remaining Citaros transferred out from Northampton, to be replaced by ALX400 bodied Tridents. 271 and one other being noted so far.

UNO have a new route in Northampton. This is the NCC-subsidised route from Hannington to Northampton.

There are two journeya a day in each direction, in from Hannington in the morning and back from Northampton in the afternoon. UNO and Stagecoach have a trip each in both directions.

This takes UNO into the depths of the Northamptonshire countryside

Don'y forget Tony that UNO already has a presence in rural Northants with service 25 between Northampton & Daventry, serving the colleges in both locations.
