Freedom Travel Happenings 2014
« on: February 08, 2014, 03:50:00 PM »
Afternoon all,

Noted on this firm's share of the 114 route today, was Alexander bodied Volvo Olympian N702LTN, in all over red.  New to Busways of Newcastle Upon Tyne.   I'd not seen this vehicle working the 114 before now, most of the time when I have observed it recently the route has been operated by Dennis Trident T 98KLD.

This week's contribution for the 114 was Trident V478KJN in full EnsignBus livery although was originally a Stagecoach Selkent vehicle.

There is around 5 deckers stored there, and a couple of solos and darts

Nothing is legal with them

With the Moderators permission?, could I please give you some advice ?? With comments such as this, PLEASE be very careful as to what you say on a Forum such as this? You do not know who may read this comment? Companies or individuals could take legal proceedings against you, if it is proved you are making a slanderous statement or comment ??

No action is to be taken, but members are reminded of their responsibility for everything that they say. However, the photo does confirm what was said - and other public sources can (and have) been referred to in proceedings i.e. VOSA oerating centre search.

unfortunately i was stating a fact, i would invite such a company to take me to court of a slanderous comment. I could go on forever about various problems, it would only backfire.

i see that as the end of the issue, thankyou

no more on it

There was a EnsignBus double deck in blue/silver - 102 I think - on the 110. Didn;t get close enough to check discs/legals.

Notable today was Trident X613EGK out on 114's complete with "UsBus" fleetnames. I believe a few members of their fleet are now lettered up as such!

X613EGK has been sporting the usBus logos since at least August.
Dart SLF Y347FGN also since at least September.
