Olympian P271VPN
« on: February 10, 2014, 05:24:38 PM »
Evening all,

Sometime ago Freedom Travel acquired an Alexander bodied Volvo Olympian registered P271VPN from Ensign, however I've not seen it around the Cambridge area at all.   I'm just wondering whether it did arrive here or not ?

Cheers

it's not currently licenced, but then Ensign would have wanted a lot for it so I assume it did get used at some point...

Hiya Jamie,

Just found out the Sun Fun vehicle is actually P279VPN.

Hope this helps,

Chris

P279VPN must be a new addition, they definitely were reported to have had P271VPN which was last in the Rennie, Dunfermline fleet with Stagecoach and was sold to Freedom, IIRC via Ensign. No pictures exist of P271VPN with Freedom and it's been unlicenced since March 2013 so we can assume it's dead. P279VPN was disposed of by Stagecoach South but a quick check reveals it's currently taxed at the £500 rate so must therefore be alive and working somewhere...

Yes, P279VPN is working with Sun Fun.  I saw it a few weeks ago.
