Our Next Timetable book – March 2014

Well hello! It’s been FAR TOO LONG since we did a Cambridgeshire book, but here we go! This was our first title back in 2011; we’ve changed for the better! With more information on tickets, Indexes, better use of space, books now hrdley seem the same! We’ve travelled everywhere, and even have a tagline “public transport information in one place” – which is what we do!

So here it is – our second Cambs book. This one follows some of the recent developments we have made with our other titles. The network in this area continues to change, following several local authority reviews. The enclosed is what we know to be running, including all the new timetables right up from Monday 3rd March 2014.

Despite being half the page size, and 44 pages less than the last one, we have squeezed in so much more!
Included are a full colour set of maps, including a tiled map of Cambs county. We also include Stagecoach maps for those towns without a council one we can use i.e. Peterborough, Chatteris etc. 28 pages of colour maps, as part of a 696 page book!

Additionally, as an experiment, we include individual route maps. These are for as many services as we can get. The bulk of these are auto-generated from Traveline, so if you see anything wrong, do get in touch. Their introduction is an experiment for this book, to judge feedback and reaction. Auto-generated isn’t for everyone, but it has to be better than the straight line some areas deem to be a map!

In addition to timetables for buses across the county of Cambridgeshire, and the unitary authority of Peterborough (City), this book also contains timetables for Royston, currently Hertfordshire. The A505 by-pass is now the boundary of Herts & Cambs. However, before it was built, The Cross was the boundary – so half the town was in Herts, and half in Cambs. The people of Royston relate more to Cambs than Herts in my experience, and even Facebook has a Royston, Cambs option instead of Royston, Herts. So, for no more than a few extra pages, we can be on the right side of everyone

£24.00 including postage (the last one was £24.99…)
