Presumably as Go Ahead now hold the Rail Franchise . This application is for the linking Bus up to the Airyport from Parkway Station .

Perhaps they will use ex London Artics on this Route ??

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case Andrew.

Looks like there could be a fair bit of dead milage though with the nearest Go-Ahead depot being the Carousel garage at High Wycombe! Did First outstation their buses on site or did they run dead to Northampton when not in use?

Full maintainsnce was done at Northampton , fuel was obtained from a local service station , although I can't remember which one . Overnight parking etc was at a site / yard quite near to the Airport .
A lot of the admin side of  running the route in First days , was done from a Port a Kabin adjacent to Parkway Station .
The drivers etc often used our toilets etc at Parkway Station .

Thanks for the info Andrew - I imagine most of those arrangements would continue as previous with the exception of maintenance.

For many months now the First buses have used Arriva Luton for fuelling and washing purposes during the day.

Thanks for the up-date , that seems a more sensible arrangement .

I moved out of thr area , after I retired from FCC in the summer of 2010 , so I am not up to speed on present happenings etc .

Thanks
Andrew HA.
