Reading Buses happenings 2015
« on: May 10, 2015, 01:47:09 PM »
On 11/4/15, I noted that the 500 Park and Ride was worked by Scania Omnicity 'deckers, rather than the usual ADL/E200 saloons.
A further visit on 9/5/15, found 500 worked by the E200s again.

New 'Emerald' ADL/Enviro 400 no 767 (YY 15 OYJ) was on display in Reading town centre on 9/5/15.

9/5/15: 'Greenwave' YR 13 PMV on 50 Majewski P& R.

The Omnicities were covering the 500 while their usual E200s were off on rail replacement work in the Pangbourne area in the week after Easter.

Emeralds launched on Sunday, replacing "Mint Green" on routes 5 and 6.  Got some photos of the launch and a couple in service today which I will share later if I get time.

The three Reading vehicles to look out for at the moment are the three generic silver liveried vehicles 1031 (the one remaining Wright Solar), 420 (the Natural Gas E300 with its cow print pattern) and 654 (the extra E200, all of which appear on a variety of single deck routes of late.
