Route 46A     Huntingdon - The Alconburys - Sawtry - Glatton - Folksworth - Stilton - Yaxley - Hampton

I notice this new service has just started with three return journeys a day.

It is operated by Huntingdonshire Association for Community Transport but there is no mention of the service on their website.

Timetable here

I wish them well and will try and find time to travel on it soon.

It will put Alconbury, Glatton and Folksworth back on the bus map and give them useful access to shops in Huntingdon and Serpentine Green. They lost their service with the arrival of Busway Route B. I hope the new service is well used and thrives.

I am a little confused by this comment.  Whilst the link through to Folksworth and Hampton is new, Huntingdon Association for Community Transport (HACT) has been operating a 46a service between Sawtry and Huntingdon via the Alconburys and Stukeleys for some time.  Prior to the HACT service, Nene & Ouse Community Transport provided the service from the introduction of the Busway B service to Peterborough resulted in the Alconburys losing their Stagecoach service.
