High Wycombe Coachway
« on: January 20, 2016, 01:31:33 PM »
As part of the long-planned High Wycombe Coachway project, a new P&R site is opening.

Changes to High Wycombe Park & Ride

On 1st February 2016 the Park & Ride site at Cressex Island in High Wycombe will close. A new Park & Ride bus service (PR1) will be operated by Carousel Buses from the new Coachway site to High Wycombe town centre, calling at the Railway Station, Bus Station and Wycombe Hospital. Please see the route map and timetable for full service details.

Passengers wishing to travel between the town centre and Cressex, including the Business Park will now need to use route 34. This service will be operated by Arriva, please see the 34 route map and timetable for full service details.

High Wycombe Coachway is is part of the Handy X Hub and includes 400 surface parking spaces and a purpose built concourse with a waiting room and vending machines; a coffee shop is also set to open in the coming weeks. Park & Ride passengers can park free of charge for up to 12 hours. Simply get a free ticket from the machine and display clearly in your vehicle.

There are two ways to access the Coachway if you are approaching from the south or the east/west via the M40 – the easiest and quickest way to the High Wycombe Coachway is to exit the M40/A404 and then drive around the Handy Cross Roundabout on to the A404.

Alternatively, motorists can use the B482, onto Clay Lane, then Cressex Road, Marlow Road and back to the entrance of the Handy X Hub on the A404. Please see our location map for more information.

As well as the Park & Ride terminal, the High Wycombe Coachway is served by National Express services 210, 410, 460, 592 and 737 to locations including London Victoria, Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick Airports, Birmingham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Glasgow. Please visit to book tickets.
