Amey/Enterprise/Peterborough City Council
« on: April 04, 2017, 08:27:15 PM »
PCC have cancelled their contracts with Amey (formerly Enterprise), who provided lots of services to PCC.

I have heard that the transport portion of the contracts is to be operated by NORSE. Can anyone confirm this?

Whoever is operating the school bus contracts at the moment, a new batch of Volvo/Plaxtons
appears to be in service. I have seen 3 today with registrations YX68xxx, perhaps someone
can supply further details. I was travelling in the opposite direction and could not get any more detail.

Peterborough City Council has cancelled the contract with Amey and has formed a new company
to operate many of the council services, but whether this includes school transport, I know not.

The new 'arms length' council owned Company takes over at beginning of February. I believe it will still trade as Enterprise and will include at school and social transport.

'Bob P'  has reported on another forum that they are registered YX68UCT/U/V/W and are allover white
with blue interiors. They have replaced KX64AAF/N/O and KX15BKO which apparently are being advertised
by Plaxton at 140k each.
