Stagecoach South has taken delivery of 9 BYD electric single-decks (the first outside London) for Guildford park-and-ride services.

They are very stylish (and silent) the Stagecoach livery & 'Glide' branding suits the MMC bodywork particularly well.
Stagecoach Guildford (Peasmarsh) depot has seen an influx of older Darts to replace the ex Scottish MAN 18.240/E300s, I assume there were reliability issues.

Staying in Guildford, Safeguard seem to be holding their own in the current 'Bus war' with Arriva, newly launched route 3S sees Safeguard back on the Bellfield route in competition with Arriva 3.
