Unknown operator in Peterborough
« on: August 09, 2019, 08:57:09 PM »
I took this photo opposite Apex training in Fengate earlier this week. It is a Volvo B12M Sunsundegui Sideral TJI 1685 new to Bebb, Llantwit Fardre as CA52 LBG but has spent most of its life with Ruffles, Castle Hedingham, then Peyton Travel, Bridgend. Seen here in Peterborough, owner unknown still in its former owner's livery. There is another Grey ex Peyton Travel Sunsundegui in the back of the yard that looks as if it is being stripped for spares.

Sorry this is a bit late but saw said vehicle on the road near Morrison's on Saturday evening about 18.30, it was heading out of Peterborough.

Marcus, I have gone back through some Welsh Fleet News with a friend (in S.Wales). We can add that it was indeed originally CA52LBG to Bebb's. & that Peyton, Bridgend sold it with CoK during September 2018. Its unsure who it was sold to ?

Apparently Peyton's mostly sell their vehicles via Ebay !!!!!

Hope this helps ?

It would appear that Taylor Martin are an agency supplying workers for farms & growers so presumably use the coaches to take workers out to the fields. I dont think they are a bus & coach operator running normal stage carriage or private hire services. Its surprising that they are using coaches such as the Volvo B12M Sunsundegui Sideral as old buses are normally used on this sort of operation ie Shropshires of Barway. But I suppose the Volvo is getting a bit long in the tooth by now and they bought it cheap.
