On the 25th March  Enviro 400 19689 run into difficulties on a Skegness to Lincoln service, although it did reach Lincoln it was replaced on the return journey by 19201,

19689 has since been repaired but is now operating out of Lincoln whilst 19201 is on Skegness duties

Following this Personal Message...
Hi mate, just wondering whether the posts ref the 57 extension from Boston to Spalding that are in the Long Sutton thread, would be better in the Skegness one now it's clear the service would be run from Skegness and not Long Sutton yard, maybe the posts could be moved.

Thanks

I created this new thread – Interconnect 57/X57 Skegness-Boston-Spalding – on the Stagecoach East Midlands board.

I've merged relevant posts from elsewhere into it.

Hope that suits everyone and makes sense.

Regards,

Richard.

Stagecoach East Midlands is applying to Group HQ for permission to place a number of ex-RoadCar Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking ‘deckers for disposal. Heads up, therefore, to anyone who could be in a position to acquire one as a RoadCar preservation project. The likely vehicles are 16907/08/09/10/11/12/13/15.

A ball park figure is expected to be in the region of £4k to £5k

With the minimal risk of transmission of Covid-19 outdoors, maybe we should have open-toppers on all regular services?

Cleethorpes Seasiders, open top Volvo B7TLs 16962 and 16965, have been moved to Skegness where they are covering Rocky and Salty which are having floor replacement

Sandy is also out of service from the Skegness fleet but will be back as soon as the original Pierre has been stripped of parts in order to help get it back on the road
