I went into town for a food shop on Wednesday 6 May on 11280 both ways after it had finished on its morning 99 turns. It appeared that 37434 took over the afternoon 99 diagram which is the first E200 to work as far as I know since lock down commenced. Also a bit quirky was sending 48035 to Flitwick on a 2.

On the same day the 50 was back to gold buses 11126 and 11138. Noted on the 7 were 10053, 19705 and 19890. The X5 was worked by 10055, 19574, 19584, 19587 and 19596.

On Tuesday 19701-704 were on the X5 going for numerical order. Captain Tom has been grounded all week so it must be ailing.

I assume Bedford has seen the light and got rid of the pesky 19581 as it has not been out this week and I scored 19578 on the X5 today which could have replaced the errant 19581. Other vehicles on the X5 today are 10053, 19584, 19589 and 19591.

11280 was out again on the 99 route before going on 1's whilst 19888 took over the 99. The gold buses on the 50 were 11127 and 11130. Captain Tom is still awol.

I noticed for the first time today that our buses seem to be alternating the destination with Proud to serve on the display screens. I certainly didn't see that on Wednesday when I last ventured outdoors.

19584 was proud to serve me today into and out of town on Hitchin services. 19587 on the 9 was a bit different as that was displaying the new government Covid messages and thanking the NHS.

The X5 circuit is being covered by 19574, 19578, 19589, 19591 and 19596 so basically all loanees unless some stay here permanently. I doubt that as I assume they will go home once the Elites return.

As usual 11280 was on the 99 this morning before being swapped with 19701.

19705 and 19890 still dominating the 5, 6, 7, 9 circuits with help from 19587 today.

I forgot to look at gold buses 11128 and 11136 on the 50 to see if they are proud to serve as well as the East allocations.

My bus to town for my food shop today was 19581 on the 81 so it is back after a week off the road. My bus home was 19698 on a 9. Captain Tom is still wonky and not being used so maybe it is being changed to Colonel Tom.

11280 has swapped to the afternoon 99 turns this week with 19574 on the morning shift yesterday and 19596 today. Anyone brave enough to risk going to Northampton yesterday would have been rewarded with the appetising sight of 48024 on the 41.

15607 and 11138 on 50's today with 19574, 19578, 19584, 19589 and 19591 making up the X5.

I am not sure if 35176 is a winner as my gen book is locked in the office so to be safe I did 19701 on a 51 to have it back on the 50. 11138 was on the other diagram.

The 99 this morning was 19584 before it later turned up to do a 9 running 15 minutes late while 11280 was on 2's. The X5 produced 19574, 19578, 19591, 19596 and 19704.

My exercise today in the heatwave was on 19578 on the 81 and 19888 back on the 9.

This morning 11280 was on the 41 as 19703 was on the 99. The gold buses on the 50 were 11133 and 11135.

10055, 19581, 19591, 19704 and 19892 produced for the X5.

I did 19699 on a 9b this evening to have 35225 on the 1700 50 to Sainsburys. 11133 was on the other turn. The afternoon 99 appears to be 10052.

Some Arriva Sapphire routes 5/6 branded nonsense in the bus station fleet number 3127.

The X5 turned out 19574, 19578, 19584, 19587, 19596.

I read on Steven Knight Media's site this morning that Enviro 400's 19584/89/91/96/699 (AE10BWV/XA/C/J/AE60JRX) have gone to Peterborough in exchange for Enviro 200's 37210/12/17/18/19 (SN64OKH/K/S/T/U). Does anyone know if the Enviro 200's are transferring to Bedford permanently to replace Darts or are they on loan?

One thing about the transfers is that 19699 never lost its Peterborough Citi branding since moving to Bedford in late 2017. So that will save Peterborough some time. Although I believe all local branding is being phased out with the new Stagecoach livery

Today's Sainsburys shop involved 19587 on a 9, 18108 on the 1436 50, 19706 on a 6 for 19700 home on an 81. This was my first trident since March.

11280 still going strong on the 99 but 11279, 19574 and 19581 seem to have vanished.

27643 was on a 51 and the X5 has 10053-55, 19578 and 19704 today.
