This will cause major disruption to Trumpington P&R buses and the 75 to Orwell. Not sure this is the right way to protest. Why are the police not taking action?

This is scandalous.

"Police take emergency action after Extinction Rebellion attempt to shut down Cambridge"

Good.

"Police are using emergency powers to close two city centre roads as Extinction Rebellion attempt to blockade major routes into Cambridge."

What?  :o

That's like taking emergency action against burglars by helping them load the van.

I would think the P&R would inbound to Cambridge via Grantchester, Barton Road and over the river in Silver Street and pick up its line of route. Returning via Hills Road and Brooklands Ave.
Not sure about the 175.
Never ask a dustman to talk shop.
He will only talk a load of rubbish!

Stagecoach Trumpington P&R Not via Granchester, https://www.stagecoachbus.com/service-updates/serviceupdatesarticle?SituationId=ID-14/02/2020-10:44:13:508
Trumpington Park & Ride customers, we won’t be able to serve stops at Fitzwilliam Museum, Leys School and Bateman Street as well as the main City Centre stop at Downing Street. We will instead be travelling down Hills Road and Regent Street, stopping at Botanic Gardens, Station road, St. Pauls and Catholic Church stops on Hills Road as well as all stops on Regent Street. The main City Centre stop for this service will be the Regent Street stop opposite the Baptist Church (outside Sainsburys).

Service 75 (not 175) nothing on A2B web site https://www.a2bbusandcoach.com/ about a diversion. The only viable diversion would be via Silver Street
