I was rather taken aback to see RML2299 before it headed off empty from the bus station. As this vehicle is not tracked I don't know why it was there and if it had done a Grant Palmer service.

AEC Routemaster RML2299 CUV299C is owned by Grant Palmer.

However, not being PSVAR compliant, it could only run a 'normal stopping' (stage-carriage) route as a duplicate, surely?

I think it is legally allowed to be used no more than twenty days per year on stage carriage, if non PSVAR. However a private hire is far, far more likely....!
