Should we rename this The cayman forum?

Hello Caymen,

Just a reminder that it's best not to post repeated requests across the entire forum.

However, if you continue to do so, your posts will be put on moderation.

Regards

Palatine

(PS. I find the best place for fleetlists is often operator websites or a simple web search. That way you can find the information you require.)

In a spirit of helpfulness, Caymen, I'd just like to point out that Anglia & Thames Valley Bus Forum has, like many transport sites its own 'feel', 'niche', or 'place in the universe' of transport sites.

Other sites do other stuff. Anglia & Thames Valley Bus Forum has a mix of members which includes, but is not limited to:
  • retired drivers
  • current drivers
  • retired transport managers
  • current transport professionals
  • bus enthusiasts
  • transport campaigners
  • preservationists

Within the different boards and threads, there are discussions about new and interesting developments in bus operations (vehicles, routes, etc) events (preservation rallies, depot open days, etc) and many other things.

From time-to-time, members will also publish links to fleet changes, timetable publications etc – see Steven Knight & Suzy Scott in particular.

What it isn't is a place for fleet list requests, although (eg) requests like "Is 10866 YX67VDA still based at Peterborough?" are OK in the context of buses being shifted around to optimise usage during Covid-19 restrictions.

As to where to find fleet lists, a quick Google search on 'UK bus fleetlists' came up with, along others, these sites:

I hope this will be of help to you.

Regards,
Richard.
