Stonechat - Tony Powell RIP
« on: August 25, 2020, 07:38:16 PM »
Sad news, Tony died earlier this month, sadly missed by Marcus (Cheltonian) and me who used to spend the first Saturday of most months for several years now meeting up at Peterborough and travelling out from there, often to Kings Lynn and other places and the odd pint in a pub!

I'm sorry to hear that. Tony was always a welcome face on the forum gatherings of years gone by, always bringing a sense of humour to things - as well as what seemed to be an instinct for a decent pub nearby! He will be missed, my condolences.

Sorry to hear this news.  I remember bumping into him on a number of occasions, including once at Kings Lynn I think.   He came across as a really good bloke,  RIP.

Suzy,

Marcus can't log into the Forum, do you know any reason?

Only just heard this news as I have been away. Very sad indeed - we had some good times together and he will be missed by all that knew him.
