Ex Lothian Wright body double decker

I’ve seen a Wright Gemini body double decker around Rushden in the Lothian maroon livery a few times today. Any idea what it’s reg might be and who owns it please?

i know who got them there 6 of them there for andrews and mil ken coach company regs are SN55BJZ/BKA/D/E/F/BNJ/V as i got a good friend tells me lives near andrews coaches yard he given me heads up

I would think Rushden is a bit outside of the operating area for Andrews and Mil-Ken. They are not the only operators to have taken in ex Lothian Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Geminis

Perhaps the first sighting was not a single vehicle but some or all of the six, passing through?

It’s not and Andrews or Mil Ken vehicle. Having seen it again yesterday is seems to be doing the same run, school run? as an ex Ensign ALX400 that was in Ensigns red/silver livery. It’s definitely a local operator to Northants, I’ve just never worked out who’s the ex Ensign vehicle was either.

It's SN56 AEG, a extra-long wheelbase 82-seat Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini new to Lothian, so it will have been well looked-after. Without being certain I would bet a pound to a penny that it belongs to Diamond Coaches of Rushden. They gave up all their registered bus services several months ago, but I think they still do schools work. The silver and blue Ensign-liveried decker is theirs as well.
