Today I managed to reel in another four for the year in town and left the winners for another day. I did 35180 on the 50 for 19893 on the 0945 72 to London Road. Then I walked to the hospital to intercept 19587 on the 0950 53 from Wootton before heading home on 35182 on the 1050 50.

Other piffle about were route 1 19578, 19589, 19590, 19593 was on a 9b, 19577 and 19583 on 53's and the tracker showed 19588 and 19594 on the 99.

I did 22837 into town on the 50 to have winner 19593 on the 1100 9a which I did to Harrowden Road shops for 19589 on a 72 back. This move got me onto winner 19590 on the 1140 53 which was taken to Kempston High St for 19583 on a 53. Year winner 15404 produced on the 1250 50 to get home.

I noticed an albino E400 inside the garage so it could be 19587 waiting to be decorated. 36323 has a defective blind display so was running around with paper routes in the window. Others seen in service were 19576, 19584 and 19588 on 1's, 19568 and 19574 on 9a/b, 19581 on 53's and 19594 on a 72. My one remaining winner 19586 was out on 905's so no use to me.

E200 36062 is the latest in Local livery, They seem to be concentrating on the oldest E200's at the moment.
Maybe they could be off to pastures new when the fleet changes take place when Cambridge's new electric fleet arrives. That's purely speculation on my part

After a week on my rail travels it was time for stocking up on food. 34835 on the 50 into town for winner 19586 on the 1300 1 to Kempston for 19593 back on a 53, food shop, then 22834 home on the 1350 50.

There didn't seem to be many deckers out since my last venture into town. 37431 and 37215 were on the 1 and 53 respectively, 36062 was on a 9b, 37434 and 37435 on 2's, 37433 on a 9a and 36060 on an 81.

There were some double decks about as 19575 was viewed on a 73, 19587 on a 53 and 19584 on a 9a. I didn't see it but 18101 did an earlier 50.

Talking about tridents, Stagecoach supported the Ukraine charity bus running day in Lewes yesterday and 18411 worked a feeder from Worthing. I remember this bus well on my local route 9 to Shortstown. I was taken aback that it is in the new livery as I thought tridents were not in the long term plans.

E400 19591 (AE10BXC) entered service in Bedford today on the 9A. Just 19585/92 now remain in Cambridge of the batch of 50

According to the Stagecoach app and bustimes, there is no X5 service tomorrow. Surely there is a Sunday service? Tell me this is all lies as I need to be in MK tomorrow.

Today I went into town on the 50 with 18101 for 19584 on a 1 to Kempston to intercept winner 19591 on a 53 to town. Fortunately this made the minus 22 onto 22841 home on the 1250 50.
I note the dreaded warning has appeared in the 50 windscreens denoting a fares increase this month. Looks like my reduced price dayrider plus was very shortlived.

Other things noted today were 10872, 19593 on 1's, 19581, 19586 on 53's, 10874, 19576 on 9a's, 19568 and 19580 on 72's.

The X5 timetable is quite clear that a Sunday service operates on public holidays. And, more generally, the SC website says Friday and Monday are operating to Sunday timetables. So I don't think there's any doubt.

I suspect a SC data error - there's also no X5 service showing for the early May BH. There's an identical issue with the 905 (also operated from Bedford). Cambridge and Fenstanton services seem to be loaded correctly.

Yes I contacted Stagecoach this afternoon and they confirm there is a data issue and a Sunday service will operate. The journey planner was telling me to go to Kettering for MK!

Interestingly, Traveline will give you the correct service for the X5 on Good Friday. So it's only certain exports of the Stagecoach data that are affected. Which is mildly infuriating, to say the least...

Following on from this, No Bedford services are tracking today. E200 37210 (SN64OKH) and E200MMC's 37433/39 (SN16OPX/RJ) are incorrectly shown as on the 1 in Cambridge. However if you click on the map it shows them as in Bedford and Kempston as they would be on Bedford's 1

This one was planned to be painted in LGBTQ livery and going back to Cambridge.
Did you see what livery it was in?

Someone has updated Bustimes with the suggestion that 19585 is indeed in Stagecoach Pride livery and is now allocated to Cambridge, although the ticket machine bearing that number hasn't seen use since February. I'll keep an eye out!

Assuming its the same one that hasn't moved for weeks, it was (last night) still parked in Bedford garage in plain white. Another plain white one was in the yard.

E400 19597 (AE10BXK) is now back in service repainted into Platinum Jubilee livery. Peterborough's E400 MMC 10867 (YX67VDC) has also been repainted into this livery

After a week away in North Wales and the North West, with a visit to Torbay thrown in right in the middle of it to attend a funeral utilising dusty bin 15321 on the 12 both ways from Newton Abbot and back, I went into town on the 50.

I thought I was going to have to pay more but it seems the day rider plus is a Bedford area fare so Midlands has not changed the fare. 22841 brought me into town for 19591 on the 1145 72 to Harrowden Road shops and back to town on 19704 on a 9a wanted for the year before heading home on 22840 on the 1350 50.

Other stuff noted were year requirements 19597 and 19889 on the 73, 19593 on an 81, 19567 on a 9a and 19573, 19581, 19586 on 1's.

As year winner 11127 was on the 50 it was taken to Bedford to reel in one of my Bedford year winners. This meant doing 19568 on the 1145 to Willington to have 19597 back both on the 72. This just leaves 10874 and 19889 to get for the deckers this year. My 50 home now is 15405 on the 1250.

Looks like Bedford now has too many buses with five decker sat at the back of the garage. Not much else noted except for 10875 and 19594 on 1's and 19593 on a 2.

Today I did the same 50 service into town with 15405 as I had yesterday to do the Queens bus which had done routes 7 and 3 so this meant 19597 would do the 1155 4 to Goldington and 1212 10 back from Goldington. As this was wanted for both routes it had to be done. Now heading home on 15455 on the 1250 50.

Others noted by sight and by tracker were 19593 on 5/6, 19581 on a 2, 19587 on a 72, 19574 on an 81, 19568/19589 on 9a, 19573/19590 on 1's and 19583/19586 on 53's.

I don't know how many olys Herbert's have left but their kangaroo oly P346 ROO was parked up in Park Avenue.

The latest repaint into Stagecoach Local livery at Bedford is E200MMC 37432 (SN16OPW), 37433 (SN16OPX) is now being painted leaving only 37439 (SN16ORJ) to be done to complete the type. E400 19888 (AE11FUD) is also due to be repainted making it the first of the batch of 6 new for the 1 back in 2011 to be done

36302 (LX56DZV) is the first Enviro 200 to be withdrawn. It never turned a wheel in service since being repainted into local livery and its MOT has run out. It's not known whether it's being cascaded elsewhere within Stagecoach or being disposed of.
