Service 1 & 3 Skegness to Chapel St Leonard’s
Service 2 Skegness to Beacon Park Circular

19196 and 16944 have gone to Hull for repairs whilst MMC400 10738 & Enviro 400 19181 have gone to Skegness for repairs

The MMC400 yesterday was noted on a 59 to Mablethorpe late in the afternoon

Skegness E400 16941 failed this afternoon so had to borrow Lincoln’s 19318 FJ07 OSZ which was later seen on the M3 to Asda

Today’s loaned buses at Skegness are as follows

ADL Enviro 400

19318 - FJ07 OSZ

ADL Enviro 400 MMC

ADL Enviro 300

27198 - SL64 HYK

Volvo B7rle

21263 - DK09 GXX

Along with a few long Sutton vehicles operating from Skegness currently which includes 27794 which has been out on route 1 to Ingoldmells this afternoon

And it would appear 21212 FX05 GXK is back on the road

Transbus Enviro300 27594 FJ08 VRC has also turned up at the seaside on loan

Also note Dart 34426 GX04 EYC is also still rattling round Skegness as was seen on the 1 to Chapel St Leonard’s this evening as well

There was a Enviro 400 in the new livery on the 57 in Spalding bus station yesterday - 15th.

Transbus Trident/Plaxton President 18042 has now been returned to Lincoln following its loan period at Skegness. This leaves 10738, 19181 and 27198/199, all from Hull on loan at Skegness.

Currently residing at Hull for maintenance, from Long Sutton/Skegness are Scania/Enviro 400 15612/618, Enviro 400 19200/206 and Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 21214. Of these Scania/Enviro 400 15618 arrived on Friday 29th January, allowing Enviro 400 19194 to be returned to Skegness.

Skegness allocated Scania/Enviro 400 15652 is currently at the Scania dealership in Lincoln, whilst Grimsby allocated Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse-Urban 21272 is currently at the local Volvo dealer for repairs. From Gainsborough, Dennis Trident/ALX400 17719 is current at Hull for MOT.

We understand that Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Vyking 16902/904-906/908/909/912 have now been given authorisation to be scrapped. All of these remain parked up at Scunthorpe, most of them appear to have become parts donors for the remaining ‘Vykings’ in the fleet (16907/910/913-920). Stagecoach had suggested they would offer a number of Vykings for Preservation, however this appears to have been deferred for the time being (probably in connection with some examples remaining in service).

It’s been reported that Wright Gemini Eclipse 16939 was taken out of service this afternoon once it reached Lincoln on the 15:00 due to excessive smoke pouring out the back, there was also reports of smoke inside the bus as well

The return journey to Skegness was formed with Enviro400 19318 which will more than likely be on loan at Skeg until the Gemini is repaired at Lincoln depot
