Sign of the times I am afraid, similar thing happening with preserved buses & coaches, with museums having to cut back due to Covid and private preservationists loosing storage facilities and or dying. With trams it will be more difficult as they need rails and with few tram based museums, (Crich,Santoft and EATM) already full, finding homes will be difficult.
