Nice one - that body style just doesn't age does it? Although interesting to see operators/body builders moving away from bonded windows.

Is there a fleetlist anywhere for Kimes, I saw they advertised Leyland Olympians 61 TAZ4061 and 78 WAZ8278 for sale in the trade press recently, and I was wondering if they have gone, and if so did they regain their correct G-TCN numberplates before leaving.

Many thanks in advance to anyone able to help.

I saw the S9 in Peterborough this morning. Its nice indead.

Although doesn't look like it different from others apart from the 9 in circle livery.  Recently when going into Peterborough its been nice to see different vehicles instead of VDL Wrightbus.

I recently seen D2 the Trident President and the Volvo ELC Decker.

Can any one tell me, do they like leave one bus down here then when a driver comes in the swap. As D2 was parked up. Driver come
in on the 9 with GK04EZ* and left with D2.

Luke

Until recently the vehicle that operates service 71 (Queensgate - Arthur Mellows Village College, Glinton) used to lay over between school journeys at Acland Street and act as a rest room for Kimes Drivers. Each driver takes an hour's break in Peterborough.

However, since 71 is now operated by a low-floor double decker this vehicle is now used on service 9. I believe there is a swap of vehicles during the day to ensure that the double deck vehicles are used on the journeys that operate via Stamford College.

How up-to-date? It's 61 and 78 I'm 'concerned' about as they appear to have gone missing, and nobody has seen them since they appeared in an advert in the trade press.

Hi Guys

On my voyage home with 1017, me and ninja came across a Trident ELC in red, my mind has gone with the reg, but believe this was heading for Kimes.

Kimes have taken delivery of a new VDL with Wrightbus bodywork. Numbered S9 and registered AN09 BUS it is route branded for service 9! It is due to go into service today.

Kimes has had another one of these buses come and they are using it on the service 9 again.

The fleet number is S10 and the reg is KB10 BUS.

And the bus is the same as S9 AN09 BUS.

KB10 BUS was out in service Yesterday and noted in Acland Street yesterday morning. As Jonny says it is a Wright Pulsar 2.
