Kimes bus crush

Here is a link from the evening telegraph website about a bus that crushed into a hospital in Spalding here is the link for you copyed below.

if no one can see the bus was the new double Decker D3 T648 KPU that crushed into the hospital.

and the bus was damaged on the top deck at the very front of the bus so it looks like it will need a new front and a new window at the very front of the bus if you want to see photo have a look at the link and you can see how bad it was.

But I can say that it looks like the bus will be off the road for sometime.

any comment to how this happen and please but do not swear.

Ouch! My thoughts to those involved, I'm glad no-one was seriously injured.

As for the damaged bus, that will be easily repairable. I've seen worse damage get repaired before.

This vehicle is now under repair at Plaxton's and is expected back again shortly.

Rumour has it that two more 51 plate double deckers will be joining the fleet before September. Don't know more details at present.

I beleve them to be East Lancs Lolyne as we past one on the way to Peterborough on the A15
