Didcot to Oxford rail improvements

27 December 2011 – 2 January 2012

Due to essential track maintenance work being carried out by Network Rail, there won’t be a train service between Didcot Parkway and Oxford in either direction from 27 December 2011 to 2 January 2012.
First Great Western services running through Didcot Parkway will continue to provide connections from Didcot Parkway to London Paddington, Reading, Bristol and destinations in the West of England and South Wales.

First Great Western services on the North Cotswold line however, will start from and terminate at Oxford, CrossCountry train services from Newcastle and Manchester will terminate at Oxford. First Great Western local stopping services between Oxford and Banbury will operate as usual along with Chiltern Railways ‘Bicester Link’ services.
