Route 575
« on: May 27, 2014, 04:17:24 PM »
Took a trip to Romford on Route 575 PVL264 ( I think ) it was in London General's Commercial Services livery , with the White Band and Gold Fleet Name & Fleet-number

Disappointing passenger number , Only me from HA two or three picked up in Epping and Debden , a few more in chase Cross area . But doubt if load exceeded double figues .

Last week one of the ex Metrobus ( ? ) Olympus's was on the Route , pity it was a PVL today

Did you catch the 12.00 Andrew?

I caught that once from Harlow, and the driver seemed annoyed that he had a passenger. Was the only passenger throughout to Romford.

Couple days late , I know . But on Saturday ( last ) the 0930 hrs departure from Harlow to Romford was a Commercial Services liveried Pointer Bodied Dart PDL class .
I did not see the number as Mrs H-A asked a question at the wrong moment .

This is the first time I have noted a single Deck Bus on the 575 .

This is the first time I have noted a single Deck Bus on the 575 .

This was LDP186 (Y986TGH), and in traditional Blue Triangle fashion, there was no full blind display. Only the route number.

Single-decks have appeared on the 575 quite a few times. In June, VDL SB180/MCV Evolution MDL1 (YJ60GGE) appeared on the route, and another time in the past an Enviro200 has been on.

Single-decks will probably only appear during school holidays though, as the 575 is inter-worked with Essex school route 804, which needs double-deckers.

Today , this afternoon ,  was PVL 223 , I was in Harlow Bus Station when it arrived circa 1530 with 2 passengers there-on . It is " by request " I note from the Time-Table now , north of Debden .
